Why I Started Visaroos

Hi and Welcome to Visaroos.

I’m Dario the principal Registered Migration Agent at Visaroos. I know all too well what it feels like to make a life-changing decision that sees you move to another country.

Let me share my story with you and why I had a genuine desire to start Visaroos in 2018.

In 2002 I was living in Brazil. I was physically there but mentally I was surfing the waves of one of Sydney’s many iconic beaches.  

I had this vision and dream to come to Australia and experience another lifestyle while learning English. By this point, I had completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Brazil and I knew this was the moment that I had to choose my path, do I stay or do I go?

It took me several years to finally commit to making my dream a reality but in 2004 I made the leap. 

The first few months were challenging as my English was restricted to a few basic words but I wasn’t going to let that dampen my spirits. What prevailed over the coming months and years has been quite remarkable.

Since my time in 2004, I have personally experienced the visa process at different levels and I could not be more grateful to the people who have assisted me on my journey. I’m fortunate to call Australia home along with my wife and two beautiful children. 

I know firsthand the implications of making such a monumental change and I recognise the gravity of this life-changing decision. Having personally experienced the rollercoaster ride of the migration journey I can say that anything is possible.

Australia has given me so much and my desire to help others achieve their dreams became a reality when I received my Graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law and Practice from Victoria University and was fortunate to become a Registered Migration Agent in January  2018. I spent the next few years working with a renowned migration agency in Sydney helping hundreds of clients from all walks of life plan their next steps in transitioning to Australia. 

What I enjoyed about this role was seeing the vast array of unique circumstances and being able to identify an equally unique strategy that I knew was methodically researched and planned to give my client the best chance of gaining a positive visa outcome.

Now, I’m fortunate to have started my own practice and my vision with Visaroos is to continue to share that gift of a new life for my clients.
